The workshop will attempt to describe the current state of lexicography research and practice in Greece. The workshop papers will cover several aspects of Greek lexicography, including:

• meta-lexicographic issues
• the importance of dictionaries in language teaching,
• the use of new technology in lexicography
• lexicography and special vocabularies
